“The philosophical point is that our happiness and well-being is not based on incomes rising. This is not just the wisdom of sages but of ordinary people. Prosperity is more social and psychological: it’s about identification, affiliation, participation in society and a sense of purpose.” -Tim Jackson

I don’t have specific political or religious affiliations. They have never held great sway over who I am. I have contributed to and voted for candidates from all parties. I have attended religious services from many different denominations. I seek affiliations with people and groups that are not dogmatic, but open to change, growth and multiple points of view. I join and support groups whose purpose is professional and industry excellence, as well as advancing the greater good.

In addition to serving as an advisor or board member of for-profit companies, my membership and leadership activities include industry and professional associations, entrepreneurial initiatives, educational, and non-profit endeavors.
